Is Africa A Safe Place To Live In?

Thinking of living in Africa?

When it comes to living in Africa, everyone thinks of one question: Is Africa safe?

The simple answer is yes! Yes, Africa; like any other continent in the world is a safe place to live in, work in, study in or do business in.

The continent having a booming economy, lots of resources, an active youth population blended with beautiful diverse cultures, Africa provides lots of opportunities.

Africa’s climate is dominated by desert conditions along vast stretches of its northern and southern fringes. The central portion of the continent is wetter, with tropical rainforests, grasslands, and semi-arid climates. The dazzling rays of tropical sunlight along coastal areas in Africa makes for its scenery.

Africa has more than 54 countries with an area of nearly 12 million square miles, many of which are relatively safe compared to other popular destinations for expats.

There is a common misunderstanding that Africa is just a great desert covered in guerrillas, hunger, and disease. This is far from the truth. Africa is a diverse continent with thriving high-tech cities, huge skyscrapers, beautiful coastal real estate, world-class universities, and progressive enclaves with progressive communities.

Think of it this way: Just as there are safe and insecure places in the United States, the United Kingdom or even in your neighborhood there are safe and insecure places in Africa. However, the hospitality nature of Africans makes it even safer.
